Winter Wonderland

It is officially winter and the city is covered in snow. I hate to admit it, but it actually looks beautiful. Tonight a few friends and I decided to take a late night walk in the snow. I got all bundled up in my long coat and snow pants (I am notorious for slipping on ice) and took a walk around the lake. The perk of going out so late was that it was quiet and the snow had not been disturbed. It was mesmerizing.

While there are many things I don't like about winter, it would be incredibly weird to live somewhere without a real winter.  What are your favorite winter shenanigans? My vote would be skiing!
